About Us

Middletown Exterior
Our Middletown pediatric dental practice focuses on the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Since they’re specialists in pediatric dentistry, Drs. Pollock and Redla have received an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry after graduation from dental school. This enabled them to provide the level of care and attention your child deserves.

Our focus is on developing a relationship of trust and confidence with each of our patients and the parents. We provide preventive services and educational resources as well as treatment of dental problems in order to help our patients have positive dental experiences and a lifetime of happy, healthy smiles.

Our office is committed to the total health and well-being of your child and to preventive dentistry. We utilize state-of-the-art technology in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients’ needs.

Pediatric Dentistry

A pediatric dentist is a specialist who is dedicated to the oral health of infants, children, teens, young adults, and special-needs patients. Pediatric dentists pursue an additional two to three years of specialty training after dental school. The training enables them to provide the most up-to-date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental issues.

Pediatric specialists are trained and qualified to treat special-needs patients who may have emotional, physical, or mental challenges. A pediatric dentist is concerned about total health care and good oral health and often works with pediatricians, physicians, and other dental specialists.

Scheduling an Appointment

Appointments are required. Please call in advance so a time may be reserved for your child. Our office number is (513) 423-9239. Since this is a pediatric practice, we see children and often need to schedule appointments during school hours.

We will provide a school excuse upon request. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. This makes it possible to shift the reserved appointment time to another patient who desires it.

Staying with Your Child During The Dental Visit

We invite one parent to stay with the child during the initial examination. During future appointments, we suggest you allow our staff to accompany your child through the dental experience. We can usually establish a closer rapport with your child when you are not present.

Our purpose is to gain your son or daughter’s confidence and overcome apprehension. However, if you choose, one parent per family may come with your children to the treatment room. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult.

Our pediatric dental treatments include:

  • Exams, cleanings, and fillings
  • Preventive care, fluoride, and sealants
  • Dental education, including nutrition and oral health
  • Treatment for gum disease in children
  • Care for pediatric dental emergencies

Each and every child deserves quality dental care in a safe and caring environment. At Children’s Dentistry of Middletown, we strive to be a fun, friendly place that our patients enjoy coming to visit.
